This HDMI repeater extends the length of any HDMI cable by regenerating the signal before sending it to an HDMI monitor or projector. It also cleans out the digital noise (speckles) in your pictures. The input of the repeater is connected to the output of an HDMI device, such as a DVD player or a satellite set top box, via a long HDMI cable (male to male). The output of the HDMI repeater is equipped with a second HDMI cable (male to male) that can be connected to any display or projector that is equipped with an HDMI connection. The repeater is placed near the display to remove noise that has been generated by the long HDMI cable.
