This Corsair case shines amongst the competition with its clever combination of multiple approaches: a unique aesthetic all of its own, the highest possible degree of convenience and practicality, and all at a remarkable price. This symbiosis is a thread that has extended through all of Corsair's series of cases, from the Obsidian to the Graphite, Vengeance, Carbide - and now the Crystal 280X Micro-ATX case. The dual-chamber principle on which this design is based manifests itself in a front that is divided into two parts, one half consisting of tempered glass and a passively ventilated, closed off section for drives, power supplies and cable management.

MICRO-ATX CASE WITH DUAL CHAMBER DESIGN
This case from Case represents a break with convention, taking the cube-style case design and bringing it into the world of compact cases that hold Micro-ATX- and Mini-ITX boards. Where regular cases are somewhat taller and longer, the Crystal 280X goes wide instead measuring in at 27,6 cm. This is due in part to the dual-chamber construction of the case, something that is immediately apparent from its exterior. The divided front consists, on the left hand side, of a tempered glass panel, and on the right of an enclosed chamber.
The dual-chamber design of the Crystal 280X enables the left chamber to be devoted entirely to the motherboard, expansion cards, fans or radiators, while the chamber on the right can also hold an additional two 3,5" HDDs and three 2,5" SSDs along with a power supply. In terms of cable management, the case provides an abundance of space.
